Elevated T4/Normal TSH

From: brittanysoto1991 - 2 years 5 weeks ago

Hello, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at the age of 15 and am now 27, still taking synthesis and tsh has always shown normal. I decided to have my own blood tests done as the only test the doctors have ever performed have been tsh and that’s always been normal. It was found that my T4 is elevated and tsh and T3 are normal. These are the symptoms I’ve been having for the last few years since having my son which is what caused the downfall in my health.
Weakness (hard to climb stairs, wash hair)
Bites/wounds on my legs won’t heal
Hair growth on lip, lower legs, and hands
Gaining weight but my measurements getting smaller and swelling increasing so technically I feel as if I’ve lost weight but the swelling is making up for the weight gain
Hair is falling out

Is this good advice?

I’m 5’7 and weigh 128 pounds currently. My only other known conditons are mild fatty liver(but I don’t drink alcohol), and a sunflower cataract found a few years ago during my first eye exam which the optometrist said looks like I was born with it. Heart and kidney issues were already ruled out.
