Hyperthyroidism inability to lose weight

From: Melpo - 4 years 1 week ago

I’m a 42 year old female who is suffering from hyperthyroidism. My levels flactuate every blood test and I’ve been told it’s been caused to damage to my thyroid due to years of crash dieting and an eating disorder. The last year I’ve noticed I can no longer lose weight and have gained some weight . Not a huge amount but enough to upset me coupled with the inability to lose weight . I am very active, have a trainer 5 times a week and follow and very healthy eating plan which I rarely cheat on. My trainer and nutritionist Agee at a loss at why the weight won’t shift especially as I have hyper not hypo thyroid . I’m feeling lost, frustrated and upset about the whole thing . Does anyone else have the same problem or any ideas to help me ?

At this point I could only suggest you to check cortisol levels and do more other tests if cortisol is high.
